Travelling through South America I have been exposed to more Che Guevara products than I care to remember.
So much in fact that according to the book Che’s Afterlife: The Legacy of an Image by Michael Casey only the famous photograph of Marilyn Monroe, her skirt rising as she stands over a subway grate, has been more reproduced around the globe.
But the fact that the image of socialist revolutionary Che Guevara has been used as a capitalist tool to sell everything from t-shirts, to beers, to condoms, must have Che rolling over in his grave.
That is why when I saw this t-shirt in Bogotá, Colombia featuring CliChe wearing Dior sunglasses and listening to an iPod, I had to buy it.

Loving the ‘Cliche’ piece – so true!
I found a very similar piece of graffiti/paste up here in East London, the Che image made up of various corporate logos – the thread/picture is on my blog, do have a look.
Love the corporate Che photo, great blog too mate.
