In my last post, I covered how Nike is trying to ambush Adidas’ sponsorship of the 2010 World Cup.
Well it looks like Adidas have quickly responded, by shaving their brand into the back of Argentine junior football players heads!
So maybe this wasn’t actually sanctioned by Adidas, but it is probably one of the best demonstrations of brand love I have seen in a while.
I might even make Kevin Robert’s next edition of the book called Lovemarks.
Adidas should be paying this kid.
In a related story, the 2009 Nicholas Weston “Tattooed Brands” Global Survey has Nike coming in at #2 in the top 20 brands tattooed onto people.
Now that is commitment.
Just do it.
